I’m a retired board-certified Internal Medicine Integrative physician who, prior to my first Environmental Health Symposium had little insight into many of these issues, especially how the “toxic burden” gets in the way of healing. 

My first EHS conference focused on mold, and until I attended, didn’t realize this was the explanation to my exercise intolerance and decline in health over the past 3-4 years.  Besides mold testing, when I returned home, I tested for many other environmental issues and discovered my glyphosate level was > 80% (I started GMO Free Washington, ate for the most part organically), but had never formally detoxed from glyphosate buildup over the years. When I did, my level came back to negligible levels within a year.  In addition, I discovered I was mercury, arsenic, and lead toxic (again silent processes like glyphosate). I've been to 5 of the last 6 conferences and this has totally changed my personal health and lifestyle and my approach to others. I’m indebted to Walter Crinnion ND and Lyn Patrick ND and Cheryl Gray (coordinator) and the speakers over the years for the amazing talent they gather each year, willing to interact on a personal level to increase our awareness.
