Devaki Berkson DC

Dr. Berkson has been a leader in functional medicine, with an emphasis on the gut, hormones and the environment for several decades.

Dr. Berkson has been teaching relicensing certification courses for MDs, pharmacists, NPs, NDs and chiropractors for decades. In the last few years Dr. Berkson has been a regular speaker at the gastroenterology module for A4M and hormones, and the gut and oxytocin modules for PCCA for compounding pharmacists. She formulated Metagenic's first female nutrient line for physicians and has the next generation female line that she recently designed for Biotics Research.

Dr. Berkson wrote a breakthrough book on endocrine disruption (Hormone Deception McGraw-Hill) and based on this book she was invited to become a distinguished hormone scholar at an estrogen think tank at Tulane University.

She was a DES daughter so her life was ruined by a synthetic hormone (in-utero) and then saved by learning how to use cBHRT to reverse severe health issues, even cancers.

She has written 21 books including Healthy Digestion the Natural Way (Wiley 2000) the first gut, nutrition, mind book and SEXY BRAIN, a book on the threat of environmental castration.

Dr. Berkson initiated a functional renal medicine program at the Naples Functional Medicine and is a research fellow with Health Sciences Collegium. She hosts the Dr. Berkson's Best Health Radio as well as writing the Berkson Blog on her website: DrLindseyBerkson.com.

Suzanne K. Gazda MD

Throughout her extensive medical career, Dr. Suzanne Gazda has uniquely combined a dedication to outstanding care with an authentic commitment to patients as people first. From this desire to find more ways to achieve wellness as a means of treating illness came Gazda Integrative Neurology, providing patients with individualized solutions specific to their health.

Renowned by peers and patients alike, Dr. Gazda offers a lifetime of experiences and experience that can best be summed up as truly extraordinary. From her first days of study at the University of Texas Health Science Center to the founding of the Neurology Institute of San Antonio (NISA). Drawing too upon her specialized efforts in multiple sclerosis treatment and in clinical research, Dr. Gazda has the most diverse professional – and personal - perspective on neurological disorders.

Her extensive work in Functional Medicine, a systems-based approach that addresses the root cause of disease, as well as in-depth study and research enhances her integrative medicine capabilities with clinically-proven therapies for many neurological disorders and conditions. Dr. Gazda is additionally certified in the Bredesen™ protocol, a personalized and research-backed program of treatment for Alzheimer’s and related cognitive diseases. Her focus as well on multiple sclerosis, emulating the work of leaders such as Dr. Terry Wahls, offers additional treatment innovation. For patients seeking care plans that address total body factors that can impact disease progression, integrative medicine affords more opportunities for individualized solutions.

Always thinking globally with compassion and commitment, she has taken her skills to distant locales, studying neurological disorders in places where access to care and research is limited. Her work with Hope for Humans has made a profound impact on the lives of so many children and families with far-reaching implications for appropriate treatments for even the most complex neurological disorders.

“Now with my expanded knowledge of integrative medicine, I believe I can help patients with devastating neurological illnesses heal in ways like never before. It’s so rewarding to see this paradigm shift in patient outcomes when we incorporate the principles of functional medicine.”
